China has become a world leader in Green Finance, and the rest of Asia is expected to rapidly expand in this regard[1]. Europe is moving from deep integration of sustainability considerations to establishing standards and requirements on sustainable finance, and the US is also seeing record levels of interest in sustainable finance, moving rapidly beyond green bonds into other asset classes, from public and private equity to venture, infrastructure and beyond.
What is sustainable investing in the Chinese context, and how can both companies and investors benefit, is the specific focus of our event in January 2019. Our events on Sustainable Finance in Asia are important gatherings, bringing together corporations, investors, academics and policymakers interested in benefiting from this accelerating global trend, learning from best practices, and building a global community of practice and education.

This event build from two successful, sold-out symposiums at Yale. The first during September 2017 featured a conversation moving beyond outcomes to specific strategies for investment success and which was followed by Yale’s first event on Impact Investing in April, 2018, which had 350 attendees.
